Participated in the Summer Theater Management and Stagecraft Intensive (STMSI), a pre-college program at UCLA focused on professional-level production processes, collaboration, and leadership in technical theater.
About the Musical
Urinetown the Musical is a satirical comedy that combines sharp political commentary with classic musical theater style. The production explores themes of corruption, environmental crisis, and social responsibility — all through humor and song.

My Role During Rehearsals
As Stage Manager, I was responsible for maintaining organization, communication, and efficiency throughout the rehearsal process.
Key responsibilities included:
- Preparing and organizing the rehearsal space
- Tracking attendance and managing rehearsal breaks
- Recording director’s notes and blocking
- Coordinating props and scene transitions
- Maintaining paperwork, including:
- Pre-production materials
- Digital and paper blocking notes
- Running paperwork and rehearsal reports
- Daily call sheets
- Sound script documentation

During the run of the show, I worked across multiple technical areas to ensure smooth execution of each performance, including:
- Follow Spot Operator
- QLab Operator
- Props Assistant (Stage Left)
- Backstage Monitor
